It's that time of year again, homeschool mom's are planning their year, ordering curriculum and gearing up for a new year. One thing that I like to include in my gearing up for the new year plan is to get some fresh encouragement.
There are several ways to do this. You can pick up a new homeschool book, go to a conference or you can join the Schoolhouse Expo.
I like the Schoolhouse Expo. I get to listen to seasoned homeschoolers, who have been where I am, right in the comfort of my own home {sometimes in my pjs, hee hee!}
A week-long Schoolhouse Expo Event

There are going to be 30 popular speakers at the Expo, I can't wait!
I am really looking forward to hearing Jessica Hulcy {one of my fav's} talk about multilevel teaching. Todd Wilson will be talking about Taming the Techno Beast – Parenting in the Internet Age.

Can I just say how many forts I've built with my son (now 7)? Of course, it's easier when we can build a small one and call it Jamestown (yay, TGTL!).
Oh, AND I'd like to hear Andrew talk about boys and forts instead of learning :)
