Fun & Frugal Summer Activity #37 Peanut Butter Play Dough

Another oldie, but goodie... Peanut Butter Play Dough!!  This stuff never gets old with kids.  My kids love it because not only can you play with it, but you can EAT it too!

If you have never made this stuff before, let me encourage you to go for it!  It is always a big hit.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 cup honey
  • Optional food ideas for creating - pretzel sticks, raisins, marshmallows, chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together until everything is incorporated.together.
  2. Knead until smooth.
  3. Let'em at it!
After the dough is ready, the kids can make pretend animals, people, foods, etc.  Cookie cutters are fun with this dough as well.  It's just like playing with regular play dough, except for the added bonus of getting to eat your creation!

I suggest keeping a little flour or corn starch in a little bowl nearby to help with the stickiness.

  Have Fun!
